“Acme Salon City is the busiest of our four Manchester salons — a light-filled first-floor loft on King Street with nine chairs, a colour bar and the odd celebrity sighting. Cut and finish, balayage, occasion hair and express blow dries, seven stylists across every level, open late on Thursdays for after-work appointments. Two minutes from St Ann's Square, and worth every extra pound of the city-centre premium.”

“Acme Salon Didsbury is the original — the salon that started the group in 2014, in a plant-filled corner site on Wilmslow Road. It keeps the village pace: unhurried consultations, colour that grows out kindly, regulars who have followed the same stylist for a decade, and a proper cup of tea. “Acme Salon Chorlton is the neighbourhood one — a cosy four-chair salon by the Four Banks with vintage chairs, good playlists and the friendliest colour Tuesdays in south Manchester (twenty percent off with our colour offer). Cuts and finishes at stylist and senior level, root colour, toner and gloss, and blow dries that survive Chorlton weather. Walk from the Metrolink, book the same stylist every six weeks, and leave with better hair than the weather deserves.”
