Aftercare: the week between salons
A good cut should survive you. A great colour should survive your shampoo. Here's what we tell every chair:
Wash less, rinse cooler. Two washes a week is plenty for coloured hair; the cooler the final rinse, the longer the gloss holds.
Heat below 180. Every pass of a 230-degree iron is a week off your toner's life. Most waves take at 170.
Sleep on silk if you can, on a loose braid if you can't. Friction is the quiet killer of blow dries.
Book the toner before you need it. Six weeks is the magic number — it's a 45-minute appointment and it resets everything.
Your stylist will build all of this into your plan at your next visit — or ask at the backwash, we love talking about this stuff.
Ready when you are.
